A magical night
The Andrea Bocelli concert in Jerash, an ancient Roman city in Jordan, was a magical evening set against the stunning backdrop of the Temple of Zeus and the Roman Odeon. Accompanied by over 160 artists, including the Jordan National Conservatory Orchestra and Jordanian soprano Dima Bawab, the night came to life with a magnificent setup. The event was organized by Friends of Jordan Festivals, and Triad was chosen to execute it. Triad worked with world-renowned experts in the lighting of ancient ruins to create an awe-inspiring atmosphere for a night of culture and celebration.
A Night of Opera
Andrea Bocelli’s breathtaking performance took place at the historic Jerash Oval Plaza, with the Temple of Zeus and the Roman Odeon providing an iconic backdrop. Known worldwide for his operatic brilliance, Bocelli captivated the audience with beloved classics such as “La donna è mobile” from Rigoletto, “Maria,” “Be My Love,” and “Fools Rush In.” Jordanian soprano Dima Bawab added a local touch, performing alongside Bocelli in a stunning display of talent. The concert also included a harmonious collaboration with over 160 artists, including members of the Jordan National Conservatory Orchestra, and the Jordanian choir Fountain of Love. It was a truly magical night of music in one of the world’s most awe-inspiring ancient cities.
Triad’s Stunning Production
Triad’s expertise brought the concert to life with a breathtaking lighting setup that highlighted the grandeur of the Roman ruins. Over 600 intelligent lighting fixtures were deployed for the event. The unique setup featured almost 80-foot-high tower trusses placed on either side of the stage, ensuring the Zeus Temple backdrop remained unobstructed. Triad worked with world-renowned lighting artist Mr. Aldo Visentin to expertly illuminate the ancient ruins, blending art and history seamlessly. Additionally, Triad installed custom flooring throughout the entire Oval Plaza, ensuring a flawless and safe experience for all attendees.
